Death

In 1433, while Zheng he was on his last Voyage, he died while he was sailing back to China. After Zheng He's death, Chinese naval expeditions were suspended. The Hanafi Islam that Zheng He and his people propagated lost almost all contact with Islam in China, even until modern day he is still the most arguably China's most famous navigator. Starting from the beginning of the 15th Century, he traveled to the West seven times. For 28 years, he traveled more than 50,000km and visited over 30 countries, right now his tomb is buried in the southern outskirts of Bull's Head Hill (Niushou) in Nanjing, the place of his birth.

The last voyage

On Zheng he's last voyage, according to the book 1421: The Year China Discovered the World from 2002, by Gavin Menzies, he claims that the Chinese at that time were powerful enough to discover the new world\ before the European, because at this time the Chinese's boat were 10 times bigger, and better than the European, so it isn't a big surprise that they discovers the new world before the European (boat compare). The reason that this was never mention is because in 1427, the Xuande Emperor came into power, and he didnt want any record of the previous emperor so he orders all the scholar to burn all the left over records of the previous emperor's achievements therefore Zheng He's accomplishment were all burnt away.

and on to his 6th voyage

By the 6th voyage, Zheng he has pretty much sailed half the globe already. On his 6th voyage in 1421-1422, Zheng he sailed from China to Hormuz, East Africa, countries of the Arabian Peninsula. This was when Zheng He discovers the new kind of animal, the giraffes. After the new discovery of the new animals and customs of other regions, the Ming dynasty emperor then ordered Zheng he to explore even further into the Western ocean and according the book 1421, by Gavin Menzies, it is said that Zheng he has discovered the new world before Christopher Columbus, Columbus discovered the new world in 1492.

2nd Voyage

After the first successful voyage, the emperor was pleased with Zheng He's accomplishment, Zheng he has successfully opened out trade routes almost all over South East Asia on his 2nd voyage, in this voyage Zheng he visited Siam, which is the capital of Thailand 1407 – 1409 . In Siam, Zheng he notice a strange animal, an elephant, he bought the elephant back to his Emperor, and the Emperor was amazed by the outside world, therefore the Emperor asked Zheng he to continue with his seven expeditions to what the Chinese called "the Western Ocean" , soon Zheng he will discover the new world.
